Red Star Hostel is easily reachable from any point of the city. Here is some useful information.

  

From The Central Railway Station (Hlavná Stanica) - it takes 13 minutes

Buy a 15-minute/0.5€ ticket. Take the bus number 32 in the direction of 'Dlhe diely, Kuklovska' and get off at the 8th stop called Botanicka zahrada.

From Mlynské Nivy Bus Station (Autobusová Stanica)- it takes 15 minutes

Buy a 60-minute/0.7€ ticket. Take the bus number 70 in the direction of Novy Most. Get off at the 3rd stop called 'Novy Most'. Then you have to take bus number 29 in the direction of 'Hrad Devin' or bus 28 in the direction of Devinka Nova Ves.Get off at the 4th stop which is called 'Botanicka Zahrada'. You can use the same ticket for both buses.

From the Airport (Letisko) - it takes 44 minutes

Buy a 60-minute/0.7€ ticket. Take bus number 61 in the direction of 'Hlavna Stanica' (Main railway station) and get off at the 14th stop called 'Trnavske myto'. Then go to the tram stop and take the tram number 1 in the direction of 'Dubravka, Pri krizi' or tram number 4 or 9 in the direction of 'Karlova Ves'. Get off at the 10th stop called 'Botanicka Zahrada'.

From the Old Town

A.(Obchodna street) – "Postova" stop: it takes 10 minutes
Buy a 15-minute/0.5€ ticket. Take tram number 5 in the direction of 'Dubravka, Pri krizi'. Get off at the 7nd stop called 'Botanicka Zahrada'.

B.(Jesenskeho street)- „ Jesenskeho“ stop: - it takes 9 minutes
Buy a 15-minute/0.5€ ticket. Take the tram number 4 or 9 in the direction of 'Karlova Ves' or tram number 5 or 12 in the direction of 'Dubravka, Pri krizi' and get off at the 6th stop called 'Botanicka zahrada'.

The tunel for trams is closed so tram stop Kapucinska do not exist any more.
Bus number 29 gpioes only 1/hour so bus 28 is a good option
